What type of evil being are you inside?

How reassuring.

Reassuring because you haven't slipped? Or because you've improved?

The remark was in fact meant sardonically, thus I doubt that either of your guesses is likely to be the case.

I believe I asked you a question, once. I don't think you answered, either.

Indeed you did, and indeed I did not. Allow me to beg your pardons, dear lady, both on my own behalf and on that of my mun, who remains one of if not the most incompetent of puppeteers I have ever had the misfortune to know.

I remember your question exactly, owing no doubt to your most amusing and accurate assessment of Miss Bell. I will make you an answer this very moment, if it please you.

My feelings towards faeries other than Tinker Bell are circumspect at best. I am aware that not every fairy in creation is of the irksome variety which plagues Neverland. Yet I have little experience with any other kind, so I am naturally suspicious. Once bitten, twice shy is especially true where fae magic is concerned, I've found.

And now that I've replied -- why do you ask?

Innate curiosity. I like t' know if I'm in danger of being threatened...well, okay; I like t' know if you have any desire at all to try and look at my innards from close range. 'Cause I'd much prefer they stay where they are.

I am certain your innards are as attractive as their housing, but I've no particular desire to admire them in the open air. Indeed, my hook and I both share your preference for their current locale.

Truly, madam, I am not aware of any offense on your part which would warrant disembowelment, and short of you throwing in your lot with my sworn enemy--or, perhaps, having the misfortune to be present for one of my nastier fits of temper--I see no reason why our acquaintance should pose a danger to your vitals.
